Project’s Brief

This assignment includes preparation of an Environmental Impact Assessment study(EIA), evaluation of environmental pollution problems, collect and analyze all relevant environmental information and use this to conduct the EA within the project areas to ensure that project options under consideration are environmentally sound and sustainable, and that any environmental impacts and any potentially adverse effects are identified early stage taken into account in project development plan feasibility.

 

Scope of Service

The work involved an environmental assessment of the effects of existing and proposed water supply, environmental pollution problems, Information Gathering and Documentation, Conduct interviews and discussions with appropriate World Bank, and other donor agencies, Inventory significant natural and cultural resources within the study area, Baseline Establishment and Analysis, Identify Alternatives and Mitigation and Enhancement Measures, a baseline description of the existing physical, chemical, biological and socio-cultural aspects of the areas likely to be affected by the proposed project on the basis of existing information.
