Restarting the Fish Landing Center-Dockyard

His Excellency the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries in Aden – Republic of Yemen met with the Consultancy company HS International Group regarding the project of rehabilitation and development of the fishing center (Dockyard) in Aden.
An extensive meeting was held in the office of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries, which included his Excellency Minister Salem Abdullah Al-Qastari and Eng. Hani Al-Sahooli, CEO of the Consultancy company HS International. They discussed a number of issues related to the project, the most important of which are similar studies and designs which were prepared by the Consultancy company to rehabilitate, maintain and expand international fishing centers and ports.

Engineer Hani Al-Sahooli also gave the minister a detailed explanation of the components, departments and modifications that will take place subsequent to rehabilitation and expansion to develop the fish landing center project in the dockyard, encompassing administration buildings, platforms, an ice factory, refrigerators, a fuel station, a maintenance workshop, roads and all associated facilities.

The minister stressed that, given the importance of the project and its significant location in the capital, Aden, the rehabilitation work should conform to the highest standards of specifications and advanced international technologies.

For his part, Eng. Hani Al-Sahooli assured the minister that the work will be executed up to the required level of importance and confidence and with the highest technologies for similar international projects.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Muhammad Allan, Acting Undersecretary of the Planning and Projects Sector, and Mr. Ghazi Lahmar, Undersecretary of the Ministry for the Fish Production and Marketing Sector and a number of deputies and officials in the ministry, and the Consultant’s team consisting of Eng. Mahmoud Al-Agha, Director of Planning and Quality Control Department, Dr. Eenas Chakra, Head of the Built Environment Department and Eng. Wefaq Abdel-Malek, Director of the Infrastructure and Construction Department in addition to a number of engineers in various specializations.

التقى معالي وزير الزراعة والري والثروة السمكية في عدن – الجمهورية اليمنية بالشركة الاستشارية مجموعة إتش إس إنترناشونال بشأن مشروع تأهيل وتطوير مركز الاصطياد السمكي – الدوكيارد- في عدن. حيث عقد بديوان وزارة الزراعة والري والثروة السمكية لقاءا موسعا ضم معالي الوزير سالم عبد الله القسطري والمهندس /هاني السحولي الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة الاستشارية إتش إس إنترناشونال وبحث عددا من القضايا المتعلقة بالمشروع وأهمها الدراسات والتصاميم التي أعدتها الشركة الاستشارية لمشاريع تأهيل وصيانة وتوسعة مراكز وموانئ اصطياد عالمية.

كما قدم المهندس هاني السحولي للوزير شرحا مفصلا عن المكونات والاقسام والتحديثات التي ستتم بعد إعادة التأهيل والتوسعة لتطوير مشروع مركز الإنزال السمكي في الدوكيارد ومنها مباني الإدارة والرصيف ومصانع الثلج والمبردات ومحطة الوقود وورشة الصيانة والطرقات وجميع المرافق التابعة ذات العلاقة.
وأكد الوزير على ان يكون التأهيل والتوسعة على أعلى مستويات المواصفات والتقنيات المتطورة العالمية لأهمية المشروع وموقعه ودوره الهام في العاصمة عدن. ومن جانبه أكد المهندس هاني السحولي على أن العمل سيكون عند مستوى الأهمية والثقة وبأعلى التقنيات العالمية للمشاريع المماثلة

حضر اللقاء أ. محمد علان القائم بأعمال وكيل قطاع التخطيط والمشاريع و أ. غازي لحمر وكيل الوزارة لقطاع الإنتاج والتسويق السمكي وعدد من الوكلاء والمسئولين في الوزارة وفريق عمل الاستشاري المكون من م. محمود الاغا مدير دائرة التخطيط وضبط الجودة و د. إيناس شقرا رئيس قسم البيئة المبنية وم. وفاق عبد الملك مدير دائرة البنى التحتية والإنشاءات وعدد من المهندسين في الاختصاصات المختلفة.
