HS Group complete the sea barrier project in Hadibu, Socotra

• HS International Engineering Consultants completed the sea barrier project for the fish landing centre in Hadibu, Socotra which was sponsored by Emirates Red Crescent Organisation.
• The group completed all design and build works for the project which consisted of a long barrier parallel to the sea shore to break the waves and prevent the water from entering into the fish landing complex in Hadibu, Socotra.
• Engineer Abdul Jabbar Abbas, the regional Socotra office manager has emphasized the importance of this project to Socotra island which would benefit the local community who totally depend on fishing for their livelihood which is considered the main source of income in the island. He also added that the sea barrier was executed utilizing local manpower and using the latest technology and equipment to ensure that the project is safe and to prevent sea water from reaching the fish landing Complex.
