The Head of Contract Director at HS Group will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and optimizing all contractual activities within the organization. This leadership role requires strategic direction, operational excellence, and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all contracts align with the organization’s goals and compliance standards. The Head of Contract Director will drive efficiency, mitigate risks, and maximize value from contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive contract management strategy aligned with HS Group’s objectives.
- Provide strategic advice to senior management on contract-related matters, risks, and opportunities.
- Establish and maintain a governance framework for contract review, negotiation, and approval.
Contract Development and Negotiation:
- Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex contracts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Lead high-value negotiations with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Develop standard templates and guidelines for consistent and efficient contract processes.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to contracts and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and procurement teams to address potential issues and disputes.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing contract management team.
- Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics for the team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional growth.
Operational Excellence:
- Monitor and improve contract lifecycle management systems and processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of all contractual obligations.

- Act as the primary point of contact for contractual matters within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in contract management, legal, or procurement roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Proven track record of managing complex, high-value contracts and negotiations.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, regulatory requirements, and risk management principles.
- Experience in industries relevant to HS Group is a plus.
